FontDropPrivacy Policy
FontDrop installs fonts on your own computer. It does not have accounts, ads or analytics, and it does not collect, sell or share personal information.
What stays on your PC
- The folders, zip files and fonts you choose are read locally to find and install fonts. They are never uploaded.
- Settings and install history are saved in
%APPDATA%\FontDropon your PC. Delete that folder to remove them. - “Export Report” saves a CSV to a place you choose.
What goes over the internet
Only the automatic update check (you can turn it off in Settings). FontDrop contacts GitHub (github.com, api.github.com) to ask whether a newer release exists and, if you choose to install it, to download it. GitHub sees your IP address as in any web request; FontDrop sends no personal data or identifiers.
Changes to your system
When you install fonts, FontDrop copies them to your fonts folder and registers them with Windows. If you turn on the Explorer right-click option, it adds a menu entry to your user registry. Both are undone by Undo Last Install, Font Health, Settings, or uninstalling.
Buying FontDrop
Payment is handled by Paystack. You enter your card or payment details on Paystack's checkout page, never on ours. We receive your email address and confirmation that the payment succeeded, and we use them only to confirm your purchase and to help if something goes wrong.
